Nice to meet you!
I’m Julie Kennedy, owner of Kennedy Services. I grew up in Waldoboro, Maine to Boston-native parents whom, to this day, are considered “out of towners” in our small coastal hometown of 5,000 residents. My professional ideals and work ethic were molded by my father’s entrepreneurial spirit as a self-employed plumbing contractor and my mother’s eagerness to serve others by way of baked goods and seasonal relishes and jams. I had a strong directional pull to the world of hospitality from a young age, working as a cater waiter and innkeeper in high school, and attended Michigan State University where I earned a BA in Hospitality Business in 2010.
For over a decade I worked for large-scale, worldwide hospitality organizations, honing my deliverable skills as a leader in high-end hotels and client services roles. My professional performance was scored by customer feedback-driven measures, providing me with the utmost understanding of both immeasurable and measurable success. The demands of my leadership positions in hospitality have provided me with a foundational expertise in service, professionalism, discretion, confidentiality and trust. Kennedy Services draws from this experience and inspires me to deliver a more personal form of hospitality directly to our clients.
The idea of Kennedy Services was born in the early days of COVID-19, inspired by the strength of small business owners to simply “keep going” in the face of adversity. We aim to partner with professionals that need small-scale, focused support while not losing sight of their mission, vision and values. We scale to the needs of our clients and aim to be integrated momentum within their operation, not simply an external partner.
Reach out! We’d love to hear from you.
